problem with psx game bomberman party

I am using a regular old ps1

burning with alcohol 120% and also have tried IMG burn

I have D/L this game from at least three sources and every copy seems the same

the tv screen flickers realy badly as soon as the game comes on like if your tracking was off on a vcr

all other games work great but I really want this game(bomberman party edition)

anyone know how to fix this problem or where I might find a D/L without this ploblem?

BYW - is this a normal problem with psx game D/L?

Burn the image at the lowest speed possible, on a good quality brand, such as Verbatim or TDK. Other brands will most likely work too for a while.

 

yes I use 4x speed all games work great except this game(sony and memorex cdr)

if I have my ps1 hooked up through a vcr instead of straight to tv the picture becomes stable but is offset

the top 20% of tv screen is black while the bottom of image is cut off making game very bad to play

so this game is fine other than the picture issue

how to fix this? or is this game corrupt even though it is the same from three different sites
