People say playstaion portable crash most of the time i think that the PSP was a little ahead of it's time if it keeps crashing.

    Indeed.

I had mine crash (2000)...using experimental psp homebrew plugins and games/apps.

My 3000 is rather flawless, so...wtf are you on about?

Hehe, I have a friend that has around half a dozen bricked PSPs. None from the slim era however. Most of these he just picks up and uses for random parts for whatever he's thinking of doing.

Other than that I've only seen a single PSP actually have a problem, and sadly, I think that was just because the PSP was not meant to stand up to falling from any height over 1 foot (Honestly, that's a small drop really, but I know much "better" electronics that can't stand falls of the same).

THe dsi's don't fair much better...or any ds for that matter.

Only my phone and my gba's have survived that kind of impact without damage.

Yeah true, hence the phrase in parentheses. Of all the handheld games I've had, nothing after GBA proved sturdy really. Even my slim PS2 tends to be sturdier than a next gen handheld. But that's hardly something that could be attributed to the system breaking. Because as it turns out, dropping your handheld system Does void the warranties.

Anything with a disc drive has a large chance at breaking...
