    Dear all,

I'm using NO$GBA emulator to play the DS Roms. However the game seems to lag very much. Is it because of NO$GBA or is it because of my computer having low specs? thanks.

Is there anyway I could fix thiS? thanks.

It might me the problem of your computer specs. No$GBA also does support big sized roms of 82 MB (except for some roms like Inuyasha and Rune factory 1)and above. Moreover it doesnt have a debugger so I am sure it might be your computers problem. ;)

what version of No$gba did you use??the latest version had already been optimized for all computer specs...for now..the 2.6a...

Funny thing is... there's two 3D renders to select from.

    a) Nocash
    b) openGL

the openGL renderer seem to slow quite a bit to almost unplayable. But the Nocash renderer do slightly better but its still quite slow. I'm using version 2.6a freeware.

I think my computer graphic card is acceptable and I have 2GB ram. I don't understand why it slows down... :(

2.6a isn't freeware. Make sure you don't have many heavy RAM applications running. Martin's 3D render is faster, but not as good as crisping all 3D on the GPU.

Umm,i'm using openGL for my oldest computer,Pentium4,2.5Ghz,with a graphic card though,still..it works smoothly for me...but it work horribly before i bought a graphic card...

    Where do I get Martin's 3D renderer?

Martin's renderer is the default one. You can tweak up the speed of your game by testing all the available emulation speed options of no$gba.

Well I think using the freeware version of No$GBA might bethe best option.

I am using the freeware version, I checked the version. But there isn't an option to allow me to select "martin's renderer". All I see is two options, which are a) nocash and b) openGL. Any ideas?

Just get No$Zoomer, it runs everything on 100% (the new one) you may notice a drastic fps drop in some games, then just nerf the sound and you're good to go, cheers.
