Problem with laptop

why my laptop always restarting when I shut down it??

I shut down it from the start menu..

any help will appreciated..

...Are you sure it's the shutdown option?

The one that says "shut down"

...I always hit the restart option...so I changed how the power button worked, now I press a button and it shuts down as if I hit the shutdown option (and not like the emergency shut off )

 

yeah, I'm sure it is...
