forget opinion. Which download, what happens, what doesn't happen, what message do you get? We're not mind readers and saying 'it doesn't work' tells us absolutely nothing.
maybe you dont have enough points ? or it the page didnt reload it self (happened to me in mediafire)
Hey! Love this site, best rom site I have ever found. I have downloaded several games already today, and have more than enough points to continue downloading games, but it won't let me download anymore, saying that I can only have 1 game downloading at a time. I wasn't downloading any games, have tried clearing my downloads, and retrying, but it keeps coming up to the same screen "Error while preparing download". I'm using the latest firefox, and haven't had a problem with downloading until now. In case you need to know, it was nds roms I was downloading...
I've have left it for 6 hours now. I haven't downloaded anything since 4:30pm. Can I only downloaded a certain amount a day, or something? Post Merge: [time]1358425826[/time] Just realised this site runs on american time, I have left it for 6 hours now. Still doesn't let me download anything...
The limit for non-premium: 1. maximum 1 download at a time (no-parallel downloading); so you must do 1 download for each time, when one is done, only then you can download the next one. 2. The number of downloads per day isn't limited. But it is limited to how many points you have to spend. Of cause if you used up all you points, then you'll have to wait until you accumulate more. (1Mb = 1 point) If you don't want to be limited, as in you want to download as many as you please without getting bothered by points, and how many parallels you are allowed to, then go for premium membership : https://www.romulation.org/buy/premium/ As for your issue, try to clear your browsing cache (history, temporary file, etc.) through your internet option, or disconnect your internet for few minutes before re-connecting it again, maybe it might help. If that still doesn't help, maybe the other admins might be able to respond with better suggestions.
This is an issue on our end, not his end. There's nothing he can do to fix this other than wait for us. It's a known problem that sometime the downloading state doesn't clear properly. It's not a quick fix, though, will take a bit of time to overcome.
