Problem with convert to AVI

    Hi,

    I want to convert a movie to AVI and I got it done each time BUT when I look to the output a big black border is down on the movie which ruins the movie!
    I used Xilisoft which never let me down... is it the movie or the software?

    Sounds like it's the software. I use SUPER (it's free) for when I convert movies, hasn't let me down much.

    My choice of converter, Formatfactory is also free, converts EVERYTHING. EXTREMELY useful for when a program is being a bitch about file formats and encoding.

    The problem is neither the software nor the movie, it's you. Pick a resolution with the right aspect ratio and you won't have that problem.

    Sure sounds like it.

    Change the aspect ration from 16:9 to 4:3 if that's the problem.
