Like the title says, when i switch the cds of the game my ps2 keeps trying to read it but nothing happens. I know than the cds work because I tried them separated, the problem only occurs when the game asks for the cds switching.
Disk could be scratched. Even if you tried them separate, if the lens doesn't align correctly, it may not read the 'stall out' information, as I call it. That is the boot info that allows it to recognize the second disk has been inserted. Try turning your PS2 vertical to alleviate pressure on the lens, to see if it may help. This has happened to me before, and I had to get a new disk 2. Good luck man.
