hi guys i have some problems in downloading some games. some games which are of a bigger size like 50 mb. i am talking a abt the games for nds. i have downloaded smaller games sizes without any problem but games like need for speed pro gets some trouble. it just hangs. somewhere like 50% it just hangs. so guys can u plz help me out regarding this problem i would really appreciate your help ;D
language such as 'u' and 'plz' is forbidden, you should have read our [rules]. The chances are there is nothing we can do about downloads cutting off, it is likely that the problem is caused by your internet connection. You should try using a download manager, if the download stops then go back to the game page and download it again, and tell your download manager to save it in the same place. It should realise the file is already there and resume it.
If you use Firefox, most of the time if you redownload a cancelled download, it sometimes resumes the old one.
There's a stickied thread about Download Problems, however as Loonylion said, the problem is most likely caused by your internet connection. That's obviously out of our control and maybe you should try using a download manager like Free Download Manager or Flashget. Moved from General Discussion to Site Support.

Please provide more info such as which browser, any error messages etc. Also describe the procedure you follow and what happens, the more we know the easier we can pinpoint the problem.
Is there anyway I dont have to spend my points on a file that I already downloaded because my first download was corrupted and I dont want to use my points again to download the same file. If not, can someone make sure the file is not corrupted anymore or something, so when i download it again, it will work. Im talking about Metal Gear Solid Disk 1, so you know which one to fix.
if the download got corrupted there is nothing we can do, the file here is fine, there was a problem when transferring it to your computer. A download manager can help prevent it, but there is no guaranteed way of stopping it happening.
We're working on a system to allow re-downloading of files without point cost but it's not ready yet, until it is there's nothing we can do besides verify that the files on the server are fine, and MGS 1 is.
Im having a very similair problem. When ever i click on a ds download link this comes up: This download is only for members of RomUlation.net, membership is free and brings you one step closer to an active and engaging community. But i have like 8000 points.
nope. I have always been able to download before now. I checked everything that post that is stickied and all is good to go
arite thanx im redownloading it again right now and hopefully it will work. i just had to wait like 9 days before i could download it again. GOod luck on making the new system thing for redownloads. that would be cool.
That system has been implemented now, if you check the info page of the PSX game you will see it costs 0 points. 24 hours after the initial download it will go back to costing points.
