Probem with Pokemon Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Fire Red, Leaf Green

Hi

I need help please

I was trying to run the old GBA Pokemon games and non of them work on my NDS lite, all my other NDS and GBA Roms work perfectly, except the GBA Pokemon games and Megaman Zero Series

All i get when i start does Roms is a GAME BOY logo and then it freezes, (no Nintendo logo)
I had the same problem with some other Roms but i just changed the Roms by downloading new ones from the site and it worked perfectly

But Pokemon doesn't seem to work at all on my DS
I tried to play them on Visual Boy Advance and there they work fine, but on my DS they freezes eveytime at the GAME BOY logo

I searched on Google and on the Forum for answers, but no one seems to have this problem.




I have about 50 GBA Roms and about 75 NDS Roms and all work fine

Just the GBA Pokemon games don't work (i tried US, EU, Ger versions) and it is the same for all the freezes at GAME BOY logo


Like i said i had the same problem with some other Roms but they where fixed when i changed Roms, but that doesn't work on Pokemon or Megaman Zero

What program are you using to load the ROMs? GBAExploader?

 

Yes, GBAExploader 0.58b, i tried 0.58 and 0.57 to but no luck

 

i cant really help but i can tell you that all of the MegamanZero games are gonna be relased on the DS

 

use the program gbata,u just fix the header and the rom will work

I used the GBA Header tool too change the header manuell becouse GBATA dint seem to work
Just use a Working Rom and copy it the header to the pokemon rom

Hmm i don't mean to whine but i posted nearly the same problem about two weeks ago, and i still don't hve any replies :\

SnewX Exactly what pokemon ROM did you use, exactly what ROM did you use for the header and what header editing tool did you use?

 

I used the US Roms Fire Red, Leaf Green, Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald,

What i did: i downloaded "GBA-Header Tool v1.0"

Opened two Header tools
First one with Kirby Nightmare in Dream Land
Second with the Pokemon Games

Press: Edit Header > Read

Then you can compare the Roms


Then you will see some numbers, i don't know what does numbers mean or anything

But anyway

The numbers are differend in Kirby then Pokemon so i changed some of them

Change "Complementary check" from what ever number you see to "B6"

Then just press Write

The ROM should work
