    Hiya

My daughter had the card that allows me to download games from here for her DS Lite. I assumed that it would work for my son who has just bought a DSi. But says no game inserted.

Any ideas and if so, where do I purchased the items from, a work colleague purchased them for me and she is on maternity leave at the moment.

    Many thanks

    Not daft at all :)

What is the card your daughter is using?

    (the brand-what label)

Is it the same as the son's?

And importantly-are they both dsi's or is one an older ds/ds lite?

    I just re-read your post.

Your problem lie's in the 2 ds's-they are both different models.

The dsi cannot take standard flash cards unlike the ds/ds lite.

You will need a flash card brand with i in it's name.

Suggestions-acekard 2.i (not 2.1-that's not gonna work) r4i (I don't trust them much though) or dstti.

There are other types but I have little experience.

Also-do not update the dsi's firmware via wifi-which mean no using the dsi shop or that handy facebook add on nintendo put in.

It blocks it-some card may have work arounds but it will get blocked again by nintendo's firmware updates.

    Hope I helped.

Yours is a simpler version of what I said-minus the fact that dsi's can't take standard flash cards XD
