I purchased the premium member status to use the premium downloader on the 24th of March and it has been great, however I tried downloading a rom today and I get an error saying: "Error getting Rom # username and or password wrong." I didn't change my password nor did I change any settings before encountering this error. I checked to make sure I keyed in my username and password correctly but it still didn't work. So I tried resetting my password and yet it still won't work. I know for sure my details are correct as I can log into romulation.com. I fear there is a problem with my account, please help!
I've tried both US & EU servers yet it still doesn't work. I don't get what the problem is, it worked perfectly fine before. :'(
yeah i had the same problem yesterday,i was hoping seph could help fix the problem,i had the same error aswell and it wouldnt let me resume ,hopefully it's just a weird glitch ,or something,i have to wait for more points before i can try again.
yeah ,just me again, i don't know if this will help as im no internet guru on this stuff,but i just retried to re do from start my download again of the same file - i first tried - north american server link - and it came up with forbidden page 404 i think,so i retried the europe server and its still working - but im only a member and not a premium member,- hopefully this might help someone who knows a bit more about this type of stuff.
I added in the old DNS entries so it should work again soon, we'll release an update that will use the new urls as soon as possible.
yeah I got an error says 'error occured at 0xc0000135' somewhat alike. I got no idea why it cannot get to start Premium Downloader, even I paid for it please let me know how should I do to solve this problem.. they say Premium member can get multiple access, but I still got 2 DL links, what is US and EU mirrors. happy DS
Please read above, by soon I didn't mean 30 minutes though, more like a few hours. It depends on how fast your ISP updates their DNS cache.
hi there. i downloaded the downloader update as suggested on the site due to the new server. now when i try to do multiple downloads, it starts the first download ok, but when it tries to start the second download, i get the username/password error and it skips onto the next file..... any help appreciated
update: just out of curiosity, i went back to using the old downloader, and that is working fine for me... most weird
Well I have just gone premium and got the latest downloader and I am getting the same username password error. Help Please!! Digi
And you are certain you entered in your password correctly? Being aware that it's case sensitive? Using the latest version on the site I'm unable to replicate it unless I actually enter the wrong user/pass combination.
Seph, I redownloaded it, checked password and user name, checked all settings. Still getting the same error. Cheers Digi
