I just recently joined an origami forum, because they have links for help with many amazing models. The kicker is: you need x amount of posts to get the link. One of the ones I want to get the links you need...200 posts. How can i achieve said number without spamming?

Find something that the community obsesses over then say something along the lines of, "I really don't see why people like X so much."

    BAM. Instant 20 page discussion.

Just spend time there. And if they have a Spam/Fun section then keep away from it as your posts may go uncounted there.
(I really have 2500+ posts but only 889 of those were counted)

I'd say the best thing to is to start discussions. Since it's an origami forum, you should make threads on the quality of Nori sheets, the type of rice used and more. If threads like that already exist, just join in the discussion. Share your own origami creations and recipes. Basically, talk about things that many people there would be interested in.

The thing that I can think of w/ edible paper is: it might tear too easily. I've moved far on from basic cranes and boats. Look up 'origami (robert lang/satoshi kamiya)' that's the kind of stuff I'm folding. now designing... mine are very simple

I find origima so interesting. Just the objects and features made from them is amazing, plus its a sure pleasent way of showing your creative skills.
