Possible to find items deleted from recycle bin?

I was wondering if you could restore all items deleted in your recycle bin. I wanna get the rar. files back, instead of having the nds rom, which takes up more space on my laptop. ???

 

did you already clear your recycle bin?

 

I clear it occasionally, hate the icon with all the paper in it :/

 

i don't think you can then, you can just pack the files back into rar's though

There are a few programs that can find deleted files. I have used Tune Up Utilities, in the past. http://www.tune-up.com/products/tuneup-utilities/ It has an "Undelete" program which can find pieces of files that have been deleted, and depending on how intact it is, it can restore deleted files.

When windows deletes a file, it just removes the portion of the file allocation tables that tells Windows where the file is located. The data is still there. But the longer it has been since you deleted the file, the more likely it is that Windows has written something over where the file used to be, so data will become corrupted, etc.
