Possibility of our good hosts adding a "friend" system?

I am just curious if our goods hosts would add a friend system for users to keep connection with other forum posters and some sort of status page for what you are writing on,etc. I wonder is Seph will see this?

I seen one forum of SMF type have a "buddy" system...

But from what I read, romU forums are just a technical support for the roms...no idea how my fav section (fun and games) came around.

I don't fully understand the proposal...

 

I think it would be quite useful. More contact with fellow Rommu's and maybe add a kindof chat room for collective reasonings and such.

 

We do have an IRC Channel for chat, I feel as though a forum is enough communication between romulation folk, although having a status would be interesting, maybe like our personal text but bigger and more noticable, so everyone can see.

 

That's what the personal texts are for.

 

you could always just add them on facebook or msn or whatever you use
im not too fussy, if its introduced i probably wont use it

 

There was a buddy system for a while, but it didn't last long.
