does anyone here every feel uncomfortable with certain age groups among the boarders? for example, do the older members feel weird with certain conversations knowing their are minors contributing? or do the younger members ever feel creeped out knowing they're conversing with people sometimes twice their age?

or is it just an internet community where the only thing that matters is we all love games and age is just a number?

 

i vote for number 3, i'm the same way in real life 8) age doesn't matter to me, if they're mature , or funny, they're my type of person

It gets irritating when I have kids talking out their asses about shit they don't know. Actual immaturity is annoying, faux-immaturity like what we do on IRC is fun because I know we can get a decent conversation if needed. Last night we were trying to tell tehuber to microwave a cockroach, then we got into a technical discussion on reduction of sulfuric acid to get a higher concentration, then back to "NUKE IT". Of course, either way we end up talking about dick a lot.

It's also kind of odd talking to the much older crowd who are in their 20s-30s, but they converse at the same level as us so it's pretty good. Hell, I'm pretty sure we've all made passes at Jazzy despite her being 12 years my senior. It's not the age, it's how they act. I like S.I.R. and Messo, I'm happy to talk to them because they have language skills and a sense of humor despite being 13. There are others of higher ages that I want to attack with a baseball bat because they act like imbeciles, but they don't get to be publicly recognized by me.

For the record, I'm not a minor. Just saying.

I'm 16. I think I've posted in most or all of the age threads by now.

I don't care who I talk too if they can be polite and mature about things. If they act like a demanding immature ass who can't do anything for themselves though, I'll treat them as such.

A case by case basis for me.
