You do know why they don't allow it right?

I could post a pic of my midle finger or a turd and use that.

I can't vote because the reason why not is good, but I'd like for my avatar to get there

 

But you can upload pictures on any social website. And if said pic was bad the account would be banned and thus no more pic. And since for online play and such you would lose all of your online progress. Or you could submit your pic for review. But that takes alot of manpower for the millions of Ps3 owners out there.

 

It's because sony doesn't want to troll thru all the "reported" images, kids are expected to use it.

Myspace, facebook differ.


The pic review could be useful though...but it means you could be waiting ages...


I dealt with the staff at sony before, takes forever to say "whats the problem"!

 

True but it is possible and only takes a few seconds for someone to look at a pic and say if its bad or not.

 

But MILLIONS of pics?

Too much work, it's cost effective this way.

 

Plus they make money off of thier s****y "premium" avatars. I think its just more of a money making scheme than anything.

They have to make up for their loss of profit with the PS3 price-drop somewhere besides games.

 

And people still buy them. this just supports the push for premium accounts. I think a boycott is in order.

 

It would put you at an advantage if you post a picture of a half-naked woman. But I'm not sure anyhow.

 

We should seriously organize this website to boycott any "premium" S*** PSN has to offer then get others to do the same.
