You make sure it has the exact same name as your old save file. Then drag the new one into the old folder, and hitting "YES" when it asks you if you want to overwrite.
In the pokesav editor, you edit what you want. Doesnt matter what. When you want to overwrite your old save file, go back to the list of options (pokemon, trainer etc) and click "save". That will then overwrite your save file with the cheats.
Right still nothing. This is what i have done 1.Played PKM PLAT till i have my starter pokemon. 2. Created pokesav file. 3. Replaced sav file. When i have replaced the file it starts from the beginning of the game
Huh. Uh... You could always just edit the original save file, instead of copying to desktop, editing that one, and replacing it. Cause this case I haven't seen before...
1. Open Pokesav 2. "Revert to original", find your save file in your microSD 3. Make changes 4. Click "Save" 5. Enjoy
Well at least we're getting Pokesav questions instead of AR code questions... I guess that's progress... There's like 4 or 5 things the AR has over Pokesav, but there's approximately 1.00x104 things Pokesav has over the AR... People are suggesting you copy the save file to your computer and then edit it. You can simply just direct the program to the SD card and directly edit it. Just be sure to hit Save at the end. I would make periodic backups, however. Kinda like System Restore does with Windows...I would either have them numbered (1), (2), (3)...or dated.
I have edited it but it comes out as an XML document and it wont work. Do i have to change the document to SAV file? And if so how do i do this
