Hi, since No$gba won't let DS games link, I got pokesav platinum version to edit my platinum sav file...however, it doesn't work. Do I have to change the save format to "raw" instead of compressed or uncompressed? Why doesn't it let me edit my save file?

open pokesav, select load file, seek your .sav file, then you can edit the poles

Yes, but does the sav file have to be in the "raw" format to edit it?

Why don't you just start from scratch? There is a guide on this site.

It is very hard to make it from scratch, but it is well worth it. If you want to look up how to make legit looking IDs for pokemon, you need to find the ID of the event you want to make, and also a legit trainer ID and secret ID.

Thanks, I'll look at that. But, I need to know, what format should the sav file be in for no$gba sav files to work with pokesav? And, also, do I have to convert the DS sav file using the no$gba to vba converter before I modify it using pokesav?

select RAW format in the first box and No$GBA in the second box when done with PokeSav.

So, do I HAVE to convert to a different sav file than NO$gba to use in Pokesav?
