Hey how's it going. I'm having this problem with my cheat file for pokemon soulsilver. You see, I have an R4 ultra and i have to manually make my own cheat files for the games i want to have cheats for. So i made a cheat file for my soulsilver and then imported on to my r4 micro sdhc card. Problem is when I press the "Y" to disable/enable cheats it says No Cheats found I've followed the layout for a maual cheat file properly. The file names for it matches the rom name. I don't know if any of you are experiencing the same problems but I hope I can get help from this thread and anyone who has this problem as well. Thank you.
what you need to do is and check on duplicated and update the game u created the cheat for and click save and you problems will be fix...i had a simlar problem...i patch pokemon soul (J) version to english and my game wouldnt read the cheat file so i click on duplication and save the change to the game that i need the checks to apply too and once i did that the problem was solved...hey this help...any question just write me
I have an R4i Ultra and I am using cheats manually too, so I can probably help you 1. Make sure you are using an original rom (otherwise it wont show) 2. Choose the game ID correctly 3. Check the cheats if they are for the correct rom (like jp or us version)
Hey i tried your steps but it still won't work. This is the setup I follow to make the manual cheat file. ;@@@@@ Game Title: Pokemon SoulSilver (U) ;@@@@@ Game Code: IPGE ;@@@@@ CRC32: 2D5118CA ;@@@@@ Number of Cheats: 7 ;@@Folder Name: Max Codes @Max Cash (Press L+R) ;@Data Length: 10 ;------------------ 94000130 fcff0000 ... and so on. I really don't know what I'm doing wrong. So please help me out here. I use notepad to edit the files , in case that helps.
Google is your friend. A little bit of searching goes a long way. And yes, I am being an asshole about it because so many people just ask away before even bothering to look something up and figuring out the answer to their question by looking at the first two entries. I have a tutorial on RomU on how to use it to its full potential. When you do look it up and also look up how to use it (which is also on their site), you can search for my tutorial which explains the more advanced techniques of Pokesav.
