pokemon soul silver help

I am stuck at the place where you need to teach a pokemon surf can anyone trade me a pokemon that can learn it or tell me where to get the good rod my freind code is 4082 9014 1123 ill also battle you

 

Just follow the game...you'll get HM Surf.....eventually....

 

i have surf i need a pokemon that can learn it dont say use croconaw cos i have quilava

 

Surf isn't useful until you get to olivine city. Go fish up a krabby.

 

If not a single Water-type pokemon that you like to use, use Normal-type such as Furret...Just my opinion though...

 

use rock smash on the rocks next to the sea in that town with the steel gym leader ... easier way to find a crabby ^^

 

Teach Surf to Sentret.

 

You can also catch Wooper at night just south of Violet City. It's easy to get to since Sudowoodo is gone.

 

I think you get the good rod from the fisherman guy in the pokemon centre at Olivine City. Then just fish and you can get a lv 20 water pokemon

 

You get the superrod if you enter the battle frontier town (forgot the name) from above.
