Pokemon RocketRed

In this last week I've been working on a hack of Pokemon FireRed. In this hack, you get to play on the dark side of Pokemon, yes...you play as Team Rocket grunts.

My aim of this game wasn't so much to completely change the storyline and region, but instead still give you the same feel as FireRed/LeafGreen but give it a twist as playing as a bad guy. Don't worry though, this hack isn't just a few character sprite changes, it still has huge changes that you will quickly notice in the provided gameplay images and video.

I didn't really want to post here for the provided server accessibility (As the ROM is only 4MB compressed), but instead saw this as a way my hack could become more popular. I'll now leave you with some gameplay images, gameplay video and downloadable demo.

What still needs to be done in Pallet Town:
Pallet Town is completely finished with hacking. (If you see anything that you think still needs fixing....please tell me.

What still needs to be done in Route 1:
- Change Female main character's battle back-sprite

 

This looks very nice im gonne use it man is there Wi-Fi on it ?
Is it for NDS ?

It's a hack of Pokemon FireRed, thus it's a GBA game. Also, that means there is no wifi.

 

Can you upload it in Mediafire?
I always have problems downloading from Megaupload and Rapidshare

I've slightly updated the game. You can now walk as the famale grunt and Gary's battle sprite has now been changed.

I've uploaded v2 of Pokemon RocketRed.

Changes made:
- You can now go up to the end of Route 1.
- The Male Team Rocket grunt you play as now has a battle Back-Sprite.
- There are new Wild Pokemon in Route 1.
- Little changes involving what happens in Route 1; Such as what people say.

Please tell me if you notice any bugs in the demo

 

Finally! I've been waiting for a Rocket hack!
Well there's Toxic Purple... But that's pretty much dead.
I'll try this one out tomorrow, it looks good

I've heard of ToxicPurple. I've never played it before, only seen a video of it on Youtube. I think it looked really great.

My Team Rocket hack will try and stay more original then ToxicPurple. It will still be different, but still original enough to make you want to play the game.
