I ran across a weird issue with this game. All objects in the game are solid, but the people and pokemon are transparent...is that supposed to happen? I downloaded the Legacy version if that matters at all.

I downloaded FireX's version and it's the same thing. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with how the emulator is emulating it. We can only wait until further versions of No$gba is released to see what happens. It might be the rom itself...but it can't be if that's the actual rom image of the game.

Sucks..game seems like fun if I could actually see what I'm doing... ::)

It's definitely not the ROM, a bad ROM dump is usually discovered pretty quickly when it's a popular game. Also it doesn't show in the form of graphics glitches but in total freezes or errors.

So it is the emulator? I find that so weird, considering how this game runs *way* better than the other pokemon games on the DS...just awkward how ROM dumps from the same series have such crazy differences...one runs slow as hell but you can actually play the game..while the other runs awesome and has a simple graphical problem. Ah...the wonders of emulation, this is what I sit down with a cup of coffee for.

Well it's all in the word really, emulation. Imagine a brand product, lets say a of D&G handbag, one day you stroll along whistling happily to yourself and then you spot it, it says D&G and it's only $100!!! Great gift you think. When you examine it closer you notice that it's missing something, sure it has logo but it's got quirks, the leather seems fake or whatever really.

The point is that NDS emulation is the same, some games just have more quirks than others. Each aspect of a game has to be emulated, 2D is not the same as 3D, a texture is not necessarily the same as a moving texture. This makes it very difficult to get the emulation right and fast.
