My suggestion, then, is to use Pokésav Platinum. You can use that to alter your save files, adding Pokémon and Items, giving yourself plenty of cash, anything really. I used it to give myself all of the Starters from every Generation, as well as those Event Items you need to get Shaymin, Darkrai, Rotom's alternative forms and Arceus.
