Pokémon Platinum (U) problem

I'm having a few problems with this rom...
1. If i deposit a pokemon into SOMEONE'S PC, then come back later, the deposited pokemon disappear
2. I have to save twice, because for some reason it always loads the second-last save
3. It freezes whenever i finish a battle with this one trainer by Mt Coronet

Could someone tell me what's going on? I'm doing quite well, but these problems are getting annoying.

 

Card? Firmware?

The save twice problem isn't actually a problem with the ROM (mostly). It's the issue (mostly) of the firmware.

 

R4 with kernel v.1.18

 

Update to the latest (Don't know if this is, too much customs xD)

Do you have cheats on?

 

Sadly, this IS the latest. The R4 team shut down for some reason a year or two ago, so no new kernel
And no, i don't even have cheats for it. Also, i never used PokeSav on it (i heard that causes problems)

 

Hmmm... No, I don't know anymore. I shall begin a patch...

 

ARM 7 patch?
Or try YSMenu.

 

What's YSMenu?
