Pokemon Platinum save issue, using NO$GBA 2.6a

First, thank you for looking at this.

Sometimes it saves and loads correctly, and sometimes it does not. I have no experience in patching ROMS and after doing some research around here I am still confused. I had saved multiple times since the last data recorded so....help please?

What do I need to do to use Platinum with NO%GBA? ...And have it save correctly each time?

Edit: Tried patching...in case someone unfamiliar to this like me stumbles on my post this is what I did

Downloaded arm7fixa.rar found this on the blog for the dlazy software
googled arm7.bin and found it on rapidshare
followed directions that came with the arm7fixa

took less than a second to patch

 

Okay...so I'm going to try the arm7 patch thingy but instructions say I need an Arm7.bin

Where would I get this? And would my current save file work after I patch the ROM?

well...... I was wrong, doing the arm7 fix did not solve my problem....I went from 6 badges back to 3 >.>;; I guess I'll try another emulator....

 

You should have no$gba 2.6a.

 

This is the version I have. I downloaded the newest version. Any ideas of what to try from here?

 

Consider saving twice in a row each time.

 

Are you using our usa rom?There have been other dumps around, bad ones.

That is a needlessly long 4 minute video that states about 4 or 5 steps total. I HIGHLY doubt that many of those steps are even needed. But if you feel they are, it'd be much easier if they were just written out where people can easily read them here in the forums. The video doesn't even illustrate the steps, it's merely a TEXT document being written on.
