Pokemon Platinum (J) Isn't Extracting need help

I believe this is the right place to ask.
The title says it, but for a thorough explanation.

-I've downloaded the ROM.
-I have the Winrar
-I began extracting, and it gives me the "Error message" saying that the file was corrupt.

I'm actually downloading it, again, for my cousin, since he wants it and such (he has an R4 and wants to have Japanese Pokemon and everything blah blah blah)

My original NDS file is on my SD card, and it still won't extract. Is something the matter? Do I have to download it again from a different mirror or what?

Any and every help is appreciated. (if this question has been asked already I apologize, and I'm quite a newb here, sort of. I tried searching through the categories here and didn't seem to find a similar topic with this.)

 

Use a download manager.

 

ive come across a similar problem, for me the download had a problem midway but it didnt notify me, the file failed to extract like yours did, it was corrupt, i re-downloaded it and worked just fine afterwards try it, hope it works
