Hey guys. As some of you may know, there is a bug in Pokemon Platinum that makes it very difficult to trade on the GTS system, where the level requirements of the pokemon wanted by the trading partner aren't displayed. The bug seems to only be present in the North American release. Nintendo is "repairing" (replacing) the carts of those affected by the bug, which is great but obviously doesn't help us flashcart-using guys very much. I'm wondering if anyone has done a rom patch to correct this problem? Conversely, since the problem appears to be gone on more recent Platinum cartridges, it might be advisable to obtain a more recent rom dump of a newer Platinum cartridge, if such a thing is feasible. Sorry if anyone's already asked about this, but it seems like a fairly important issue for the DS emulation community to address.
The european ROM shows levels in the GTS. The only other difference that I know of between it and the US release is that the slots in the Game Corner are gone.
