Pokemon PLatinum Can't save?

So yeah i downloaded pokemon platinum yesterday and i was very happy.
i played it the whole evening getting 2 badges and when i went to sleep i saved.
This morning i started pokemon platinum and my save was gone!

i tried to save again but it still didn't work.
I have an Edge Flashcard if i had an R4 i'd know the problem but what can you do about edge?

try up dating to the newest firmware... this happened to a lot of people when Megaman starforce 2 came out

 

where can you downlaod it?
on the edge site? And i thought that that was only the problem with R4 ???

 

Great so i downloaded New firmware And now Edge won't start O.O
it says Booting the whole time but nothing happens -.-

i tried to start it with the older firmware and it works fine!
besides i still can't save xD
anyways what's with that new firmware thing? why doesn't it work?

i don't know what i did but it suddenly worked and now i can save ^^

The flashcart teams make new firmware to add extra updates and fix bugs etc. with games and whatnot, as well as extra features. That's why you should update your firmware when a game doesn't work.

Uh the flashcart link of your flashcart, if you have an R4, you click R4DS..

 

update your r4

but dont install the new system menu/background

if you leave the background as your old one it should work fine after updating

 

when that happens you have to reformat the micro sd if problem still persist try older os the newest is 1.4 right now.If you try everything that is mention above and still fail wait for a new firmware remember to backup everything before reformatting ^_^(EDGE user too lol)

 

That's usually only for freezing problems.
