Well which one do you like? There's not much choice really. Nothing different about the two except the pokemon that appear. I'd say Diamond as blue is better than pink.
If you're an emulator gamer, like myself, there's absolutely no difference 'cause you can just use cheat codes to make any Pokemon appear in battle & catch them. But as anandjones said, I'll go with Diamond 'cause I don't like pink By the way, how come you guys can start a poll?? At my end, I think the poll option is disabled or something?
There is a button labeled Post New Poll next to the New Topic button. On topic, the two are basically the same, but I bought Diamond because diamonds are shinier than pearls. I have such a shallow mind. :
If you have a girlfriend then give her Pokemon Diamond, afterall "Diamonds ARE a girl's best friend" lol ;D

Pearl since too many people have Diamond and not many people have Pearl, thats make Pearl only pokemon high in demand and low in supply XD
