Pokemon Pearl NO$GBA error HELP

Ok, so I downloaded legacy both diamond and pearl, Only pearl seems to save and when I reset the cartrige it still works but here's the kicker....are you ready for this? make sure your ready. No matter how many times I save shut down restart I'll be walking along ( it seems to be random happens in no specific area) and I get a sound error that is apparently fatal and the program shuts it self down. The really strange part is that when I go back and load the game it always takes me back to the one point when your buddy's mom comes into your house looking for buddy, even if I've saved beyond that point >< GAME GO CRASHY CRASHY ME GO SMASHY SMASHY
and what I mean by that is any help on this subject would be much appreciated thank you.

To tell you the truth, Pokemon is a very advanced game and for such a premature emulator it's really hard to run it. I would be surprised if anybody got really far in a pokemon game the way this emulator is now. I haven't had trouble with pokemon until a few hours ago where at the end of a battle the game just unexpectedly freezes...I don't know what the problem is. Maybe someone else knows more about both our problems. 8)

Yeah, shoot I forgot to mention this earlier. I did manage to fix that problem by simply turning on the sound(odd how that works huh?)

After fixing that problem I've been able to log 8 almost 9 hours onto Pokemon Diamond with only one simple emulator crash(your first double team fight against Team Galactic with Prof. Rowan's assistant as your partner) that was resolved by a simple emulator restart.

This emulator still punishes my laptop hardware wise though, hopefully the upgrade that makes it easier to run will be very soon.

I think its not only for Pokemon Pearl. I'm playing Harvest Moon and other games and I cant seem to load my saved file )':

 

Make sure to have the rightsave type, and save in-game, not using save states or snapshots.
