Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire Announced!​

Nintendo have announced a new pair of games for 3DS, to be released November 2014. They are remakes of the third-generation games Pokémon Ruby and Pokémon Sapphire which were released in 2003.

These games are titled Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. The box art, which can be seen below, features Groudon and Kyogre like the original games, however they look a little different - note the symbols for the Greek letters Omega (Ω) and Alpha (α) highlighted in their designs. This is a strong hint that the two Pokémon will gain a new form or Mega Evolution (of course this is not yet confirmed).

An announcement trailer (see below) was posted by Nintendo, and then earlier today Japanese show Pokémon Get*TV previewed a tiny snippet of footage, showing the awakenings of Groudon and Kyogre.

Mega Diancie's ability is currently listed as ?? while Mega Sceptile has Lightning Rod and Mega Swampert has the ability Swift Swim.

I had read about it about a year ago in serebii just after black and white was released but they said it would be for nds .

I don't think we will see Delta Emerald.
In the last years Nintendo registered several other possible Pokemon game names that were never used yet.
Such as Pokemon Grey, Pokemon Brown and Pokemon Purpel.

Great game but, unfortunately I can't play it. Neither X nor Y. Only if it was nds.

And the grass type got the short end of the stick, Lightinrod which allows sceptile to be a perfect counter to Rotom-Wash and not much else, due to having a mega evolution Unburden is useless so overgrow is probably going to be the most popular move.
