    Hi sorry if this is wrong the forum, its my first time posting. I am currently playing pokemon leaf green and cannot carry on playing after completing the pokemon league. I believe it is as the game cannot be saved from the game menu and rather has to be saved from the vba menu. Is there any way to fix this when i attempt to save it says save error please exchange backup memory.
    please help!

    1. create a file name vba-over.ini from notepad copy and paste the following code into the vba-over.ini

    Code:
    e-Reader
    [PSAE]
    flashSize=131072

    Pokemon Ruby
    [AXVE]
    rtcEnabled=1
    flashSize=131072

    Pokemon Sapphire
    [AXPE]
    rtcEnabled=1
    flashSize=131072

    Pokemon FireRed
    [BPRE]
    flashSize=131072

    Pokemon LeafGreen
    [BPGE]
    flashSize=131072

    Pokemon Emerald
    [BPEE]
    rtcEnabled=1
    flashSize=131072
    2. move the vba-over.ini into the folder containing VBA.exe

    3. rename your GBA rom to the name used in the vba-over.ini

    4. Run VBA.exe and check the following setting
    - Option -> Emulator -> Real time Clock
    - Option -> Emulator -> Save Type -> Automatic
    - Option -> Emulator -> Save Type -> Flash 128k
