Hello everyone. I realize this is a very common problem. I have done extensive searches for solutions, but everything I have found is old, usually dating back to around 2010 and have found nothing that works. Currently my HeartGold rom freezes upon saving after the third gym. This is probably an anti-piracy measure employed by Nintendo. Every few events after a certain period causes the ROM to crash etc. I defeated Whitney and went on to catch Sodowoodu, but I try to save upon entering Ecruteak City (4th Badge) and immediately the No$GBA (v.2.6 for Mac in Wineskin) the ROM crashes and I get a "ROM image has crashed." My research has told me this happends more and more often as you get more badges, with the rom not even loading upon obtaining the 4th[/i] I was hoping a solution to this issue has been found/developed so that I can advance past the fourth badge without the ROM constantly crashing. Any suggestions as to fixing the crashing problem would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! If this is in the wrong section, I apologize to the mods, I don't post very often.
