pokemon heart gold cheats not working?

alright when i downloaded pokemon heart gold cheats and the cheat part will show when i touch it but when it gets to the cheats menu it freezez anyone know y and dont say update firmware or any crap like that

 

Tell me you flashcart, firmware, cheats on, etc.

 

r4 SDHC firm ware 1.18 when i click cheat bottom screen turns white and freezes

 

Soooo...it works without the cheats on?

And how many cheats do you have on?

 

none it wont let me go to cheat menu

Well, have you tried any other games with cheats?
Or are your cheat files in the right part of your system folder?

 

what part of the system folder or do i just dump them in the folder btw i have like 5 cheat files 2 that had same names but i think dif files

 

There should be a file called CHEAT.DAT in your /_system folder.

 

yep its in my _system_ folder

 

That's weird...

 

You have to basically delete some of the games from the cheat list and save it for other games to show up on the cheat list. Perhaps this is the problem?

Open the .DAT file with Notepad (computer program).

Just get WoodR4, it boosts the compatibility of the games, and doesn't have that failure limitation that the r4/fail has

 

He doesn't like it for some reason...and he uses it.
