i downloaded the pokemon explorers of time by micronauts, and tried it with my 2 GB sandisk sd card in my m3 real. the whole thing locks up if i try to navigate to the game (the game icon is just a black square) and now my computer won't recognise the sd card at all.

Ooh nasty. Can you run any other games? Try connecting your SD to other usb ports or hubs.

it worksinmy ds - it appears to have also corrupted kirby mouse attack (i ripped it myself, so not really a loss). any other device which uses a micro sd card slot just freezes - namely my phone, so i can't use them to remove that game (if it'll make a difference).

i also tried to delve into the folder and remove the game with ds organize, but it freezes when i choose the "NDS" folder.

other USB ports give the same results - a new drive with nothing inserted :(

anyway, i'll try at college, see if i can recover anything at all...

anyway, i've got my head together and had some breakfast - it was late yesterday and i was tired :p... i'm running CHKDSK from via my built in sd card reader (thank god i do have one)

with the sd card reader built in i at least get an I/O error from my console. with the adapter it's just blank. so i'm running CHKDSK, which has just told me there is some errors (no duh...)

i'll edit this post if there's any progress

EDIT: well... no progress. the sd card still works in my ds, but i'm brute positive it's pokemon and now kirby mouse attack that are preventing the card from being seen on any computer i use.

though when i said i couldn't navigate to it via the nds browser i can safely go over it with the built in file browser (like how you would for homebrew)

unfortunatley unlike the m3 simply where i could deletefiles by pressing X, the m3 real has the amazingly useful function of switching between the touch screen and the top screen *screams in frustration*

does anybody know how to delete files via the m3 real browser? i never had the PDA installed because ds organise was so much more useful

sorry for the double post, this particular dump of mystery dungeon is definatley a bad dump. after reformatting (and loosing my wicked advance wars ds save *grumble*) the game will still not load. it hangs on "creating save".

on the m3 real firmware (the one that says m3 sakura) it at least gets to that part...

EDIT: it works now. i shortened the file name to just "explorers of time/darkness"

I had absolutely no problems on my SD card. Most likely the card is shit, especially if shortning the filename fixed the issue.

the problem, in the end, was when i looked on my sd card - trying to replicate the error. the .nds file appeared on the card as 0kb big, and would not be deleted from the card - anything short of reformatting was useless.
