Hey i have the idea to start making a pokemon game but i need to make a team if you want to join reply here.
don't expect any help unless you can prove that you are capable of producing a game, you have some of the needed skills and a decent plan. People here have been bitten once before by someone wanting to make a game.
I have some good ideas and i am very good user of photo editing prograns such as photoshop for sprites and also map makers like advance map i need some people with ideas and programming skills better than mine to help the project ( in programming im a noob pretty much so i need somone with medioum to hi and expert programming skills)
1. Get a plan. People want to know what you are intending to do before they start helping. 2. Know what you are doing. Are you going to use tools? Or make them yourself? Are you intending to use a real Pokemon game as a base, or make it from scratch?
Ok im planing to do a pokemon game based on hg/ss game interface you know the save menus and stuff.I would also suggest adding our pokemon apart from the one alreadi in.Also we could use programms already made or if we have a good programmer we could make ours!!
So you are just going to modify HG or SS? What are you going to do? Sure adding new Pokemon is cool, but you have to add more. Are you going to make a new plot? Or introduce new characters? Also, this forum isn't the greatest for ROM hacking projects. I suggest heading over to GBAtemp and asking there.
