"Pokemon.com" server not found.

    As stated in the thread title, my browser(s) can't connect to pokemon.com site which is required to sign in to PGL for dream world of pokemon white."Server not found" is the statement of firefox.In pokemon global link site, my problem is like this:

    Any ideas on what this problem is and how it can be solved?

    That's what they're saying.But, people beside my house are able to access that.And peoplefrom other regions in romulation too are able to do that.

    You'll have to contact the people in charge of the website, and find out why they are in Maintenance mode when you feel they shouldn't be.

    It could be that this is the default message for the servers not being available for your geographical region.

    Do you know how to contact people at Pokemon.com? Please tell me if you do.And i don't think that's because of sever unavailability in that area as I can access the site with a proxy.

    Have you tried cleaning your history or cache? Maybe it might solve the issue. I had seen that same message 2 days ago but it was immediately resolved the next day by itself.

    Yeah, tried clearing the cache.No use.I can't risk my self to clear the history.It'll be a doom if I clear the history.

    Oh....its actually harmless. But well....might as well try asking the admin of pokemon.com in the technical assistance/help or contact option.

    I'm not saying it's harmful.Just that I can bear my 3 years of browsing history deleted.I can write down/memorize all those web addresses xD
    Also, when I try to go to their support page, that also gives me a server not found statement.

    Don't you use the 'Bookmark' or 'Favorite' button to record those links?
    When you bookmarked or add to favorite, those links will not be deleted along with the other cache when you choose to delete the browsing history.

    Most browsing errors are either caused by the temporary internet files, or cookies. One that you must make sure to keep a record before hand is your password and username. And you can choose what to delete from the Tools --> Internet Options --> Browsing History. But again, maybe in your case it could be the server at fault.

    Working perfectly now.Maybe was just a server at fault.Still don't know how people behind my house were able to access it.

    What does that mean? Because the site went back into that "maintanence mode" for 5 days now.No sign of getting back to normal.As Pikachu~ above says, is there any chances of my net getting used up by others?

    It was down for maintanace for the whole day yesterday. I couldn't get in either yesterday. But today its back up and running as normal. So not sure why you're still facing that same issue for the 2nd time.

    PS: The Eevee Promotion in the Fun Zone is officially over. But the Eevee Promotion in the Dream World not yet start. When it does start, you'll be able to catch that eevee that you had got from the fun zone through the dream world. Not sure when it will start, but maybe in a few weeks time. So stay tune.

    Off topic:

    Have anyone bought Pokemon Black and White magazine vol.2 ? Mind sharing the Special Password in page 176 to acquire the Munna C-Gear Skin? Not that I don't want to buy the mag...just that its not on sale in my country. ::)

    Not just yesterday, the site was sown with maintenance for 5 days in line from last week's friday.Also, the maintenance I'm talking baout is like this:

    Not the official maintenance with time-table put up.
    And yeah, that Eevee promo is due after May 5th.As of that Pokemon B&W Vol.2, it should be out within a month.The skin is available till 2012, so it's not a big problem ;)

    Anyways, googled the pass and here it is: PGLDR34M

    I'm gonna test that pass code. Hopefully it work. Thanks. By the way, where should that pass be input? I'm kind of dumb lately. :p

    Not sure why on your side its down 5 days in a row. I played the game for several days before it was down. It was under maintanace for only 1 day from my experience (only Tuesday), and today I'm playing it again.

    You'll be able to use the pass code in promo section from May12th onward or so the site says.Also, when I try to ping/reach www.pokemon.com, it says "Couldn't find the host" in cmd prompt and in firefox it says "Can't find the sever at www.pokemon.com"

    Edit: I tested your links and it work just fine. Not sure why on your side its faulty. Try installing Google Crome, maybe it will help. I'm using Crome and IE8. Both work fine.
