Pokemon Black

Hi I am helping my brother get a completed game sav file onto my nds. The problem is that when i went to move the sav file with the nds file, i always see new game. The .nds and the .sav file have the same name. Any help? Thanks

So his games and your save has the same file name.

Are they the same version?

 

no im helping get pokemon black onto my nds and he found a completed save file on the internet. he wants me have the save file overwrite the .nds file so the game will be completed.
I dont know which version the .sav file is in.

 

.SAV files cannot overwrite .NDS files. Same concept with any files with the same name, but different file extensions.

 

This is correct, normally if you name them them the same directories it will reconise it as that save file. Try another file or ask. I'm sure someone has completed the main game.

 

The OP probably has the .SAV file in an unrecognized format for his device. Because we don't know what device he is using, this is impossible to solve.

 

Try renaming both files to not have those percents.

 

Do you happen to have another .sav file in the same folder for the game?
