I've tried so many roms; U clean, U patched, J clean, and J patched. I have no idea how to fix this. It'll show the start up cut scenes then it'll freeze on a black blank screen for about two minutes while playing distorted music. After waiting out the black screen the rom works perfectly fine, it's just REALLY annoying. Could someone help me? I've tried disabling soft reset, cheats, and ap bypass in the settings. All result in the same thing.

Have you updated to the latest loaders?
    http://akaio.net/loaders/

Download that and update it. Then use a clean version of Black 2/White 2.

Well I've done it via the wifi option on the acekard it's self. But I'll try manually downloading it and see how it goes.

    Hmm. Weird problem...
So, the ROMs work (like on an emulator)?

Yeah, they've all worked perfectly on desume. I've formatted my micro sd about five times now too...

Weird as problem for you then.
My ROMs run fine on my Acekard 2i...

What have you been patching the ROMs with?

Well I'm a little new to the whole patching scenario. I don't know a whole lot. Mostly I've downloaded already patched roms. I have tried patching clean roms with Dicastia-Patch, DS-Scene Rom Tool, and xdeltaUI.

Alright, let me know if this is how I'm supposed to patch the rom using ds scene rom tool.

    1. Open DS-Scene
    2. Drag clean rom onto DS-Scene
    3. Go to the 'export' tab
    4. Click export rom

    That's alright.
The steps you are taking seems to be in order... Have you tried running it with administrator rights?

I'm on the admin user, so that'd be pretty pointless. Not to mention I've done the patch before, and it said it was successful. I don't know, I guess I'll just emulate it on desume. Or trade in some games for a new physical copy. Old one was accident-ly put in the wash.

    Good one :)

It's weird that it isn't working for you... *really* weird.
Out of curiosity, what class is your MicroSD?

    I'm using a 4GB SanDisk

Here's also a video depicting the exact same problem I'm having. Only I'm using a DSL not a DSi.

    Class.
Like, each MicroSD has a "class".

It should be on the MicroSD.
Just Google "how to find out class of micro sd card".

    Ah, sorry. It's a class 2 apparently.

Well, after googling what the difference in classes meant, I think I just answered my own question. :p I'll probably buy a 16gb class 10 off amazon for $10.

Quick update for anyone who's reading this and having the same problem; I remembered I had a class 4 microsd that was being used in my digital camera. Using this for my acekard 2i now allows me to instantly boot up the game with no problem! Thanks for your help and time Xenirina. Would have never even known about the class of a microsd.
