Pokemon Black Rom issue

I am sorry if this is the wrong place to post but I am a noob to all this rom stuff..
I have a Pokemon Black Rom and when I downloaded the Event Darkrai I cant battle in game anymore the button is gone to select my move plz help

 

How did you add the event to your game?

 

I just selected the mystery gift option on the start screen to download it and then it said to pick up a gift at the pokemon center and once the man gave it to me I tryed to battle a wild pokemon and the touch screen option to select your attack or item ect wont respond it just sits there and I have to press the home button on my 3ds to exit all together... Just to clarify I have 2 3ds systems and use r4i-sdhc rts silver fw1.29 if you need more info let me know.. plz help both white and black edition on both my r4 and my wifes r4 have the same issue
