Trainers, get your pokeballs ready. Late last night, Nintendo unveiled the next chapter in the Pokemon series. This newest game, called Pokemon Black and White, will be a brand new experience – unlike the recent HeartGold and SoulSilver, which hung new bells and whistles on an older release. Pokémon Black and Pokémon White will be released in Japan this fall for the Nintendo DS. If these games follow Nintendo’s usual schedule, they'll arrive in the U.S. the following spring. The upcoming title will come with new Pokemon. So far, Nintendo has only taken the wraps off of two: Jiroa and its evolved form, Jiroaaku. Well, those are the Japanese names. Others have translated their names as Zorua and Zoroark. Nintendo says it will reveal more about the games on April 15 on the official site at http://www.pokemon.co.jp/bw/index.html. Even though these games will surely be launching right around the time the next-generation Nintendo 3DS hits, they are for the current DS platform. Black and White are the swan song for Nintendo’s cash cow on DS, and the games will likely outsell all the others based on the fact that the DS’ userbase will be that much bigger. Here are some new images for the game. Sorry, but they are really big
Well if that's how the game'll turn out....THAT'S PRETTY AWESOME :O At least some proper difference in graphics. Gamefreak is taking this the right way up in my book Oh and for that zoroark screenie...Is that how battle sequences'll be like? Spiffed up animations thinghy?? 0o
Just because it takes on the Plat engine does not mean It will certainly be on the DS. Even if its highly possible its going to be on the DS, Does not mean we can evade that 10-20% chance.
I've been wondering. If they are using the Platinum engine to make this, why didnt they just make it like this in the first place? :| It would have sold more copies and it would be much more appreciated, because i surely would.
