I just started black2 on my ak2i running akaio 1.90 I only setup the game and only played less then 5 minutes then I saved that little progress. So far this little bit of playing didn't freeze. So it does start up. BTW, I am using a Samsung 16gb Class 10. It could be that a lower class rated SD card may not keep up with this specific game, IDK.
i'm using a kingston class 4 (maybe 6) with the acekard 2.1 on original DS and it won't get past the gold loading text
I have a feeling that some class 4's may not be fast enough for this game. I'm using 16gb class 10 on my ak2i and just realized that my r4i is still running with a 16gb class 4 and is loaded with about 250 roms, no issues with this one either. Back up your SD's and then format them. Reinstall akaio 1.90 then install just the PKM2 rom of your choice, don't install any other roms. See if it will work with just one rom. If it does just install a few roms at a time from there, to make sure it stays working. Post Merge: [time]1349957297[/time] It should have a C with a number in it stamped right on your SD TF. If it doesn't have that C with a number it is most likely a class 2 as anything above 2 should be stamped.
The Patched Rom wasn't running one Akaio 1.9.0 kept getting a White screen Downgraded to 1.8.9z works fine hasn't frozen at all
I guess it works in different ways for different card combinations, I also have an ak2i w/akaio v1.9.0 w/16gb class 10 TF here and so far no problems using the patched black2 Whatever it takes to make it run, I guess.
ok i got the patched black 2 (iRiL) release working on my 2.1 card. i downgraded to akaio 1.8.9z and used sdformatter to format my card. all good here for now
