Hi everyone! Just a quick question: Is it possible to play Pokémon in let's say English up to a specific part in the game and then when the European Version comes out just change the .rom file and play it in German with the English .sav file? So that my progress is still the same and only the language is changed. Thanks in advance.
Yes, you should be able to. It has worked on previous pokemon games between the Japanese and English. You just need to rename your Save file to the same name as your E or G NDS game, and it will find it and continue on from where you were.
Theoritically yes but it didn't work between J and E HeartGold, even though it did for the previous 3. But these might just be too different and other regions might still be interchangeable. EDIT: Once the AP is cracked it should work. Apparently there's a problem with saves with over 4 badges related to the freezing: Number of events until freeze gets different with each badge, and 4+ makes it negative, so saves won't even load.
