    Hi, I've uploaded over 400 screenshots in png format to:
    - around 400 to Genesis/MegaDrive section (most had none)
    - some to PSX section
    - some to Dreamcast section (most had none)
    before over 3 weeks and none is showing up and I haven't received a single point for this.

    Today I've uploaded 2 png for "A Witch's Tale (U)" NDS

    No moaning here, but it is courious and maybe a problem with the upload system.
    I am using FireFox 3.0.14 and all uploaded pngs show after upload but never for the game info.

    Just to let you know, because I like to have screenshots for games I don't know.

    It needs to be approved first by the admins of the site.

    If they appear on the games you submitted them to and you haven't gotten your points, then let me know and I'll look into it. If they do not appear then they weren't approved, there could be many reasons for this, such as watermarks or being of low quality.

    That's one part of the problem. They showed up after uploading in the upload section.
    That they don't show up for the game-info screen immediately I know.
    They have to be approved first, which I consider usefull.
    BUT they still don't show up for the game itself.
    All screenshots were taken by me (so no watermarks and definately no bad quality...hehe)

    Please let me know if I have to upload them again.
    But if we could make a TEST first, to see if the upload itself works, would be appreciated.

    EDIT:
    Can you look for the newly uploaded pngs for "A Witch's Tale (U)" NDS?

    EDIT2:
    Have uploaded "3 Ninjas Kick Back (U) [!].png" in the Genesis/MegaDrive section.
    It shows up in the upload section for me.

    I'm sure, you would have got an error message if the upload didn't work.

    The Dreamcast section still seems to be borked.
    Uploaded "Alien Front Online (U).png" 320x240 153KB and not showing up after 100% upload complete.

    Genesis section seems to be ok now. All pics show up after upload and are branded with romulation.

    Tip:
    I am uploading a 2KB sharp png file and the result becomes a 10KB blurry jpg...
    May consider changing to png output?

    we used to use png but it resulted in much larger filesizes.

    Bmp. ftw?

    If so don't use it like a Vectograph, Bitmaps blur. So no resizing.

    .bmp produces even larger filesizes, it is not suitable for use on the internet.

    jpeg or png24 for photos and suchlike, gif or png8 for graphics (I.e discrete colours). You want the lowest filesize with still acceptable quality.
