What I suggest is extra points for posting threads. Now, I know that those kinds of benefits might lead to a lot of spam, but what if it was just say... 1 point, and not for just posting anywhere, but for creating a thread, but the thread must stay up, and if a moderator or admin removes the thread, one to ten points get deducted. If you deduct more than the user would gain, they might be more careful to not spam so much. However, there's also the possibility that someone didn't mean to put a thread somewhere where it would get removed and honestly needed help... ...or maybe there could be a certain forum where posting for points is allowed or something?
Not happening, it would encourage spam, and the whole intent of the points system is to keep our bandwidth costs under control. if we gave points out like candy it would not do that. If the 50 points per day arent enough, despite suppliments from uploading screenshots, then buy points and offset your bandwidth usage.
