I have been wanting to download animal crossing gamecube for 2 days now. and it takes about 2 hours depending on my Connection And just at 83% it says connection timed out. Ok thats fine ill re download it. so I go to redownload it and I lose all my points. I have used 3 thousand points to download this game for 3 times all fail. Then I lose all my points and I will have wasted 3 thousand. I wanted to know If I could just have enough to download it or another way to get it for free. Because Im tired of waiting 2 days to play it. Thank you for your time. MaimedSoldier
You can use a download manager and avoid that problem. Flashget is pretty good, but I use DownThemAll for Firefox. And you can download the same game for free until 24 hours after the initial start of the download.
I know but ill lose all my points after I have already tried and lost all of those. is there a way to do it without losing points?
I just said that...download it within 24 hours of the initial download. Also, use a download manager...did you even read my post?
I just found out that I dont have enough points to DL it so can someone give me maybe 500 points so I can get this one thing? I just got on to see that I didnt have enough points and it has been 24 hours and yes I did
so im basically screwed until I wait a week for more points? WTH! now my time until more points are going up! at -???!!
even though its not my fault that my that this site timed me out I dont get any help getting the rom?
I do not believe points are returned for people having internet issues. It's recommended that you use a good download manager when downloading files. I recommend using FlashGet www.flashget.com Resuming is always at no point cost, and there is a 24 hour window after you choose to download a game that is zero point cost. With a download manager, you could have resumed your download from where it left off, and not had to spend any more points. And remember, points are not used in any way to purchase a game, they are used just for bandwidth.
its a bug in the javascript, sometimes it counts up instead of down. It has no effect on when you get the points.
