Plugin recomendations for "The Hive"

    this isn't a very common game so i'm not surprised that it has running issues. So I tried it in ePSXe 1.5.2 and ePSXe 1.6 and I get a terrible amount of lag, like every 2 seconds it pauses and goes back, the game is unplayable. Anyone know if it's the plugins i'm using or another emulator that might run it.

    what plugins are you using and what are your computer specs?

    I have 512 MB of ram. 1.7 GHz and a Ge-Force 6200 video card (AGP) I know it's not the best but I don't have any problems with any other games. These are the plugins i'm using.

    Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.76 (Video)
    Eternal SPU Plugin 1.41 (Sound)

    try the DX7 driver or the opengl one, also try disabling sound and setting graphics settings to 'fast'
