please help....

    Totally new to all this stuff, so apologies in advance if this sounds stupid, or has been covered before.

    After purchasing a R4 card for my DS, I have formatted the card and now what to put a game rom on it. I have tried downloading from this site but the files download as .rar files and I can't seem to find them when I insert the card in the DS.

    What am I doing wrong. I have watched/read a few tutorials and following the steps, and can't see why the game doesn't play once the file has been transferred onto the memory card and put in the DS????????????/

    you must extract it to become .nds file
