Please help

    Ok, i bought this R4 the main reason was to get pokemon platinum, but since ive downloaded it ive had nothing but trouble, first time i did it it wouldent save so i did that dslazy thing i test it out so i start the game get about 10 mins into it decide to save it then put it on again everythings fine i see the giratina animation, i press start it goes onto the menu but i cant press anything and the lighting is dimmed, tottaly frozen. i know this might be tottaly nooby of me if im doing something very obviously wrong but please help :'(

    Platinum is known to have bugs like that, but i don't know if it's only bugged on R4. when you get the chance get a new flash card like a CycloDS
    i don't think the arm7 patch really does much to this one. wireless connection is supposedly also confirmed not to work
