Please Help! World 5, Level 5 - The Humans

I'm stuck on World 5, Level 5 of The Humans. I cannot figure out how to get the 3rd caveman down to the lowest level, where the wooly mammoth is walking. I know how to stop the mammoth from getting in the way, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the 3rd caveman down to the bottom. He's needed to help save the prisoner caveman.

 

I finally figured out how to get the guy down. He has to jump with a spear from a particulat spot on the slope. Does not seem logical, but it works.
